Jay and Jeff can back me up on this, and many of you already know my feelings on it. Gurren Lagann is my favorite anime after Cowboy Bebop, with (mostly) stellar animation, great characters, high-octane action, comedy, etc.
Jay has the DVDs. Frankly, I will cry if this is not shown sometime next year.
Thank you.

How many episodes? We usually cap at 26 because otherwise we wouldn't get any other series in during a semester.

Fff, oh, that's nothing xD You had me worried for a sec. One extra episode is just fine! I was thinking it might have been one of those 54-episode series. But 27? Perfect! We'll definitely have to schedule it in. I'm curious as to what the show's about... it's been very popular for cosplayers, I've noticed.

It's basically a cross between FLCL and Evangelion. It must be seen to be understood. Its mecha, and it takes itself even less seriously than Nadesico.
