I don't know if any of you have heard of the artist Murakami, but he's responsible for the art form of Poku (Pop-Otaku) and designing the style of Superflat. In 2003 his art was classified as the most desired in the world. Like Andy Warhol, Takashi Murakami takes low culture and repackages it, and sells it to the highest bidder in the "high-art" market. Unlike Warhol, Murakami also makes his repacked low culture available to all other markets in the form of paintings, sculptures, videos, T-shirts, key chains, mouse pads, plush dolls, cell phone caddies, and $5,000 limited-edition Louis Vuitton handbags. The Louis Vuitton part is why I'm posting this link. This is a clip/commercial he made that I think is absolutely adorable for French Louis Vuitton. Please, watch! Superflat First Love

Bump for the fact that this is what I'd rather do than be taking studio art at Kenyon. For reals. And by "this" I mean find attractive, time-transcending boys with an interest in the impossible.
Seriously, though, watch this video. It's crazay.
