... I love how you said "non-gay" xD (Have you *SEEN* the pr0nz??)
I'm watching, I'm watching! Plus, it's not like I don't know some of the spoilers. I love to be spoiled--makes me prepared to analyze everything as it happens. If only I didn't have to do a 7-foot-tall self-portrait.
... All this being said, WOOOO AMV NIGHT IN LESS THAN A WEEK!

Hey, Jen, are we still good on watching This Is Otakudom on AMV Night (I think you suggested we do that back when I said maybe we could do it for the last meeting of the first semester so...)? I checked the run time, it's about 54 minutes, which I would think would give us plenty of time for standalone AMVs. For those unaware or who have forgotten: This is Otakudom is an "Otaku-mentary" fan-parody about a group of Otaku trying to go to Otakon, using primarily footage from Fushigi Yuugi, but also drawing on a ton of different series for various side plots/whatever. For instance, the director casts himself as Gendo from Evangelion. Cue: "I jumped at the chance to make the documentary... the, if you will, Otaku-mentary *slow evil smile* that you are about to see." First part (of six): www.youtube.com/watch?v=2x6mR0PYXxMAlso, if there's room for any other suggestions, I've got a few awesome Giant Robot-filled AMVs to suggest too: Gurren Lagann - Welcome to the Black Parade (Sorry it's on gametrailers so you have to sit through an ad--Youtube took the sound off. I have a downloaded copy so we may be able to use that...): Basically an amazingly epic AMV with super-fast editing to accentuate fight scenes and whatnot, it's really well done. www.gametrailers.com/user-movie/ttgl-welcome-to-the-black/155421Super Robot Wars Alpha - Skill, Victory, and Gong (by JAM Project) Technically a Video Game... MV for the Super Robot Wars series (which features giant robots from almost every anime you can think of, though not Gurren-Lagann yet), set to the opening themes for three of the games, provided by the Japanese super-group and SRW main music team JAM Project (whose members include the guy who does the DBZ opening, the guy who does the One Piece Opening, the woman who does the opening to Utena, etc.). Basically a collection of the most epic attack animations from the games set to truly epic music (what JAM Project is known for, basically). I also have a higher quality version of this which is a wmv file, so I'm pretty positive whatever else may not play on that computer, this one will. www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdYteycRHnM
